SOURCE: Which spark plugs should I use for my 2004 Honda

Try using one of these: NGK Resistor Spark Plug - BPR6ES-11 or Denso Iridium Spark Plug - IK16 Note: most NGK spark plugs fit your bikes engine and requirements.

SOURCE: cannot figure out the size of the socket wrench

You are always best off using the wrench that Honda supplies in the tool kit. It is designed to fit in your motorcycles head and has a grabber to lift the plug out of the spark plug hole. Provided a previous owner did not keep the tool kit or forget to put the spark plug wrench back in the kit . If you do not have a tool kit , you can purchase one at a Honda dealer or , if they want too much for the kit , you can order the spark plug wrench by itself , probably for around $10.

Hi, your plug number for an NGK plug is D8ESL As far as the plug socket size it is a 13/16 deep well socket. The gap should be set at .07-.08mm.

There is a special plug wrench for this. The socket is very thin and narrowly fits in the hole. The plug cap has a rubber grommet that seals the tube.

I have a 2009 honda shadow spirit - what size socket do i use to remove the spark plug?

Your tool kit contains a spark plug wrench with a grabber built in that is perfectly suited for removing and installing your spark plugs. If it is missing you can order a replacement spark plug wrench at the local Honda dealer.

Cannot figure out the size of the socket wrench needed to remove spark plugs. It needs like a slim socket to get it in the socket well.

Is ther a special spark plug socket to remove plug in a 2002 250 xr honda the one with the bike slips and is to short thanx in advance

You may have the wrong tool kit in your bike. Honda always gives you a spark plug wrench that will work with your bike in your tool kit. The tool kit may have been switched or incorrectly replaced at some point with a kit that contained the wrong wrench. You can go to a Honda dealer and order just the spark plug wrench you need off the parts microfiche probably for under $10.

Does it require a special socket to remove RF and LR plugs VT750C

make sure you use either a factory spark plug removal tool or a thin walled socket. if you don't have a thin walled socket you can make one by putting one against the bench grinder.

How to change sparkplugs on honda shadow motorcycle

VT1100 has two spark plugs per cylinder, the sparkplug caps are snap-ons so they're fairly easy to remove. You need a spark plug socket wrench to remove and replace the spark plugs.
