If the water is blowing out at the cylinder head then yes, the gasket needs to be replaced.

Your bike does not have a thermostat or fans. Either there is too much coolant in the system, an obstruction in the recirculation of coolant or the water pump is not working right and letting the engine overheat.

Cracked Cylinder head or cylinder head gasket blown. Bet you filled it up with cold water when it was hot! Check your oil level, see if it is going up (water getting in) Remove the rad cap start your engine and if it blows the water out then i'm probably right.

I need to know how much crank oil goes in a 1991 Honda CR 250R?

There is a phillips head screw on the clutch cover right below the water pump. Remove this screw and add oil til it runs out the hole where that screw goes.

Engine misses blows water out the overflow in radiator

Sounds like you are blowing a cylinder into the cooling system.
Could be a head gasget
Could be a cracket water jacket.
Do a compression test to confirm cylinder number.
then pull the head and take a look.

You need to take it back apart and follow the float level setting directions to the letter.

The float level is very critical.

Also check and make sure you have the needle and seat installed properly.

Have a look at the thermostat.
If it's blocked shut, there won't be the circulation through the rad.
You may need to invest in some 'radweld' type treatment too.
Good luck with that.
Don't forget to rate, thanks ;)

Overheating and heater bloing cold air

a coolent pressure test will tell you if its a head gasget or maybe aleak someware else. if its head gasget it will either fill up cyl.or go into oil pan. its posible to be intake gasget too. pressure test is in order.
