Orange and white wire under the seat and check it with a test light with key on and with key off

SOURCE: were do you drain the
underneath the bike on the left side of the oil pan, right at the front edge is a bolt (some look like a allen wrench bolt). Take it out and also take out the oil dipstick to let it flow easier -but before you do it run the bike for about 5 minutes to heat the oil up some.

Here are the stock gear ratios:
Gear Ratio (1): 10.11
Gear Ratio (2): 6.96
Gear Ratio (3): 4.95
Gear Ratio (4): 3.86
Gear Ratio (5): 3.15

There is a large bolt on either side of the seat down on the side. It uses a large hex key to remove them. Take these two bolts out, lift the seat and pull to the rear. That should do it.
