- Adding coolant obviously would not cause the idle problem. Something you inadvertantly altered while doing so would. Look carefully at anything that could have been accidentally affected during your maintennance. Possibly a vacuum line.

Start but switch off engine managment light stays on

Good morning Hans Ludeke,

There are CERTAIN principles for being a DO-IT-YOURSELF fixer...

Go with the FIRST & CHEAPEST fix...
(check your battery condition & cable connections FIRST)
((EVERYTHING depends on good Battery + Ground)).

BEFORE you don't believe what your DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES are telling you... ASSUME IT IS CORRECT.

(buy 1 plug & 1 coil... (having a spare won't hurt that bad)).

Go to rockauto (or your FAVORITE PARTS/SPARES house and check the price of plugs & coils... Then go to the dealer and get an ESTIMATE from them...

Figure out what you WANT to do... Get started.

JUST Do it...!

I don't believe much of what I read (either)... but I do believe SOMETHING is wrong with your (un-identified) vehicle,

Getting stranded in traffic is one of the most dangerous & unpredictable things you can do these days...!!

Hope this INSPIRES.

http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm#service
find your truck, pull up the PDF then on your keyboard hit the find box (F3?) punch in "fuse" and run down the list...

My dt125r headlamp low beam is very dim can you tell me why ?

Hi, Madmurph_567 if your headlight is not working, keeps burning out or is dim the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply wire to headlight bulb socket.
2. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.
3. Corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets in wire connectors.
4. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
5. Faulty ignition switch.
6. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.
7. Faulty wiring between battery positive and headlight bulb socket.
8. Weak charging alternator/generator.
9. Faulty voltage regulator/rectifier, overcharging.

Am fitting new ceiling lights have 1 live 1 neutral 1 earth wire to connect . the ceiling connection has 2 live & 2 neutral wires as well as the connecting wires what do i do with spare wires do i wrap...

the 2 live wires are 1 for lights,1 for fan, keep them separate if you want control from 2 wall operated switches,if you only want control from the switches on the fan you can tie these together,as for the2 neutral wires they can be tied together at the fan box,and the 1 earth wire goes to the metallic surface ground screw on the unit

Changing headlight bulb on 2002 Italjet Jetset 50

Not sure as to your model. I did not know there was a Jetset 50. But on the 150 you remove the black panel that surrounds the the ignition switch which then gives you access to the lights. As to spares. You will need to try and find them on line. (Not easy)
