there is no clip. there's a rod going through the peg with a spring in the middle. both sides of the peg are these little flat things and there's no room to stick anything inbetween them to pop em off.

There is a round clip under the peg that goes around the pin. Take a flathead screwdriver and pop the clip off. Then slide out the pin and there you go...make sure to go and get new clips. Dont reuse the old ones they will come off when riding.

Only idle with choke on

Sounds like you have blocked or partially blocked pilot jets,
this can happen if bike has been sitting anf fuel has gone stale in bowls or contaminated fuel in tank.
hopefully bike if well serviced or could be caused by air leaks or even tight inlet valve clearance if bike has done a lot of miles

Cant undo nut

No they are not left hand thead, normal r/h thread.
make sure chain is still on bike and front sproket and then try good rattle gun. if this does not work, put bike in gear and hold on rear brake and use long breaker bar, if still no good will need to heat front sproket nut with oxy set very carefully and rattle off with rattle gun while nut is hot

98 yzf 600R..Right fork leaking. Problem and fix?

it sounds like your fork seal has failed,it wont affect your brakes but will make your front suspension feel a wee bit "soggy"and will affect your handling,i would suggest getting the seal replaced as evetually the oil from the faulty seal will contaminate your brake pads that will affect your braking performance, replacing the seal, sooner rather than later ,would be a wise move..hope this helps...cheers

a jump box is nothing more then a battery with leads on it so where are you connecting it verses the new battery you put in the bike. that doesn't make since unless you are connecting the box right to the starter motor then it be constently running the motor untill you unhooked it. check all your fuses and examine all wire harnesses for damage, burns, or any mellting.
