Question about 2005 Bajaj Wave
I want to know the details of the transmission of Bajaj Saffire scooter (Indian, now out of production). It was the first four-stroke automatic scooter, with a unique 3-speed automatic transmission (which was a failure). There is very less available information about automatic transmission like this. All automatic scooters are now CVT (Variomatic) transmission. I just want the details of the Bajaj Saffire transmission so that I can do something about it as the parts are now worn out in my scooter and the company has stopped manufacturing the parts also.
P.S. I had to post this question under Bajaj Wave as there is no option of Bajaj Saffire in the product category...
There is nothing big with this...bajaj wave, bajaj kristal, bajaj saffire are all having same automatic transmission.but the belt will moves in saffire because of cvt...the only thing that goes off is belt
