Hi mate my Hyosung gt250r 2008, it starts fine then when I go to drop I in to gear it will just stall and, the other day it kept stalling no matter what gear, I cut the kickstand sencer still wont go

You need to connect the two wires coming from the loom to the sensor. If you actually 'cut' the cable it should be easy. Make sure you connect the wires coming from the loom, not the sensor.

Why can't I engage fifth gear in 96 kawasaki vulcan 800

IS it noisy all the time or just when trying to get 5th gear? Hopefully just when trying to engage fifth gear. It is likely a bent shift fork. If noisy all the time a keeper on one of the shafts may have failed allowing gears to go where they aren't supposed to or a bearing has let go. Either way you will need to open up the tranny and investigate.

Honda motorcycle manual

If it cuts the engine when you pull clutch in, check side stand micro switch, it thinks stand is down still, WD40 and a good clean usually works or loop it out

Stuck in gear

Stuck in fifth gear if it had one and if it was stuck the gear is broke or seized together from lack of transmission oil.

1997 Suzuki Intruder VS800...starts, runs, stalls

Hi, Anonymous the ignition circuit cut-off system comprising of the side stand switch, clutch switch and neutral switch has the following functions:
a. It prevents starting when the transmission is in gear and the side stand is up, but the clutch lever is not pulled.
b. It prevents starting when the transmission is in gear and the clutch lever is pulled, but the side stand is still down.
c. It cuts the running engine when the transmission is in gear and the side stand is moved down.
Periodically check the operation of the ignition circuit cut-off system according to the following tests.
With the engine turned off:
1. Move the side stand down.
2. Make sure that the engine stop switch is set to "RUN"
3. Turn the key to "ON".
4. Shift the transmission into the neutral position.
5. Push the start switch if the engine does not start the neutral switch may be faulty.
With the engine still running:
6. Move the side stand up.
7. Keep the clutch lever pulled.
8. Shift the transmission into gear.
9. Move the side stand down if the engine does not stall you may have a faulty side stand switch.
After the engine has stalled:
10. Move the side stand up.
11. Keep the clutch lever pulled.
12. Push the start switch if the engine does not start you may have a faulty clutch switch.
This check is most reliable if performed with a warmed-up engine.

Why does my 2005 lowrider make a whining noise

If I am not mistaken you are speaking about the gear whine of fifth gear in the transmission. This is a common complaint of owners of bikes of your make and model. It is not harmfull to the operation of the bike but it is annoying. Baker offers a gear that has a different cut in the gears that will stop the whine but it is not a cheap fix.

In 4th and 5th gear at full rev seems like

If it is hard to start after it stalls, it is probably getting too much fuel. Could be dirt in the float valve. Also try running a hotter spark plug

My 2008 road king has an annoying whine when I ride in fifth gear.

Your transmission has a straight cut 5th gear and not a helical cut 5th gear.
HD fixed this whine with the 2010 touring models.

Cuts out

Does it have a kick stand interlock switch? If so, the stand needs to be up when you select a gear, or it cuts off. If the switch is bad or out of adjustment, it will cut off when put in gear.
