Vehicle produces a clicking sound while driving

When I'm driving down the road, taking turns (left or right) I noticed it makes like a higher pitched clunking or clicking sound. When I got home I jacked the car up and pushed on the sides of the tire to check if it might be the wheel bearing or tie-rod but it seemed good. I then followed by removing the wheel and doing a squeeze test on the Outer CV boot (Driver side where the sound is heard) and no grease was present. I finally took note that with the tire installed, and vehicle raised in the air, the tire would make the noise when I rotated the wheel back and forth. I haven't pin pointed the problem yet but would anyone have any quick ideas as to what it might be? Thank you. (Engine: 1.8T AWP, Drivetrain: 5-speed 02J Manual)

It turned out to be a very bad wheel bearing. Apparently wheel bearings, when extremely warn down, can and will produce a clicking or popping sound while the vehicle is in motion or turning. Other symptoms are commonly a rubbing sound from the bad side.

2010 Elantra, started with a high pitched sound turning left. Did that for a few days, then started when turning right. Now same noise is cooming for about 10 seconds. Not immediately on start up but

You may need to check the belts on your car's power steering section. Make sure the belts are tight and not worn out. Check for cracks on the belt and if loose, tighten it. There is also a product called Automotive belt dressing that you can spray on the belt to make it stick more easily to the pulley it is supposed to turn.

2000 Cougar with rumbling noise.

There are several places to look. If it is a lower pitch vibration, look into front wheel bearings and rear axle bearings. A bad u-joint will produce a higher pitched vibration and may lessen as you lift the throttle. They also will give a hi-low squeak when backing up.

Car droning noise

While you are driving, get up to roughly 40 MPH on a road with little or no traffic. Once at this speed, whip the steering wheel left and right as if you were making rapid lane changes. If you notice a change in the pitch or intensity of the sound, it is quite likely that you have a pending wheel bearing failure. The reason that the change will be noticed is because there is a rapid change in load placed on the bearings during lateral moves. Outside of the, the tires alone, can be quite noisy. I drive an old 1981 Mercedes 300TD wagon. I never realized how much road noise was coming from my tires until I replaced them with new ones!

1999 subaru forester growls from rear wheels

Hello, from the sounds of it you have a wheel bearing out. One way to usually verify that it is a wheel bearing is to drive down that road and swerve side to side to transfer the wieght of the vehicle back and forth. If it is a wheel bearing you will notice a change in the sound. If you hear a change in the sound figure out which side it is coming from. If when you swerve right and it's louder or makes more noice then it will be the left bearing and vice versa.

Misfire and eratic idle on Ford Focus petrol 1.8i

motor mounts need replacement and sounds like your cars comp. is about to take a hit and go down
the air flow control unit sounds like it also has has a clog in it and needs to be serviced this is a big one when you get to driving at higher speeds the fan turns off and the air outside controls cooling air/fuel mixture rate sometimes too much air intake can make the vehicle act eratic
