Likely if the battery is in fact good that it is the large contactor in the solenoid cap.

SOURCE: Replaced positive battery cable + spark=bike will not fire up

I am afraid to make assumptions as to what else you have checked due to some negative feedback. Did you LOAD check the Battery? Did you check and clean your grounds? If you have done all of that the next logical problem is the solenoid, which can be rebuilt.

CF moto v5 250cc is making clicking noise when try to start. Bike was serviced yesterday and this morning it is not starting.

If there is a series of rapid clicks check your starter solenoid, although a single click can be a low battery.

Yamaha 550 vison won't start only making a clicking noise I've had the battery changed full charged and when I hit start it gos dim and clicks once

Sounds like the starter is stuck. Sit on the bike put bike into gear without ignition on a lightly rock bike fowards and backwards you migh hear a loud click or clunk then try starting as normal

try cleaning the start button inside the housing as weather gets in and could be a dirty contact ! check the earth contacts around the engine also ! are the wires to the solinoid in good condition , battery wires also ?

Kawasaki vn1500 will not start, new battery, new starter solenoid, good fuses, just click click click not start

Check your ground connection to make sure that it is clean and tight. If the connections are good, I would suspect the starter itself.

Clicking noise back

Hi Anonymous, five years on a battery is a very long time, most motorcycle batteries only last two or three years. I would start by replacing the battery. Good luck

Bike won't start, new Harley battery, and starter bike 2006 FLHX Street Glide, all I get is a clicking noise from solenoid under seat

I'm not too familiar with the later model bikes but if I were getting a clicking noise under the seat and the bike was not starting, I'd investigate the source of the noise. It's possible that it is a starter relay that engages the solenoid that is an integral part of the starter. Look at the starter from the right hand side of your bike. You'll see a single small wire that connects to the end of the starter just above the end plate of the solenoid. Disconnect this wire and connect a test light or volt meter to the wire. Turn on your ignition switch and press the start button. You should hear the click under the seat and see voltage at the end of that wire. If not, replace the relay, a plastic cube about an inch in dimension.

Good Luck
Steve

1993 softail coustom, wont start, battery holds a charge, clicking noise when i start it

yes as compare to a normal small bike this bike come's with a big battery see try starting with another battery if bike start's properly then go check for a good battery but sir you haven't mention how much old is your battery is it new or old that is also a ? if battery is OK then try look for starter wiring problem, see weather the ignition coil supply with your bike is properly working if not try the same suggestion like wise i mention for battery check for part try it but don't come to any conclusion of buying new part without trying a old pert for test after you are completely satisfied then only go for the new part at that time you are bit confident about that what problem you are facing of what part OK sir good luck.
