Question about 2002 Harley Davidson FXST Softail Standard
Posted by Anonymous on
Hi Anonymous, Go to www.officialharleyparts.com and download a free wiring diagram. Some where between the switch and those lites power wires are being energized when they should be dead. Get out your test lite and disconnect the wire harness coming out of the instrument panel. Inspect the the pins and connector blocks for damage or contamination. If all looks good, and with the test lite connected to ground, keep following the power wires that should be dead with the switch off but are still making the test lite active, untill it doesn't lite up any more, and bingo you should be very close to the problem. Repair as necessary. Good luck
