the fuse box is under the hood it is usually a black plastic box like thing about 8-10 inches long,the cover just clips on & is easily removed to expose the fuses.......hope this helps......cheers

Dash lights do not turn on when turning on head lights

This is probably a blown fuse. Consult your owners manual for fuse locations. On todays cars, there is often an under the hood fuse location for engine controls and another location inside the passenger compartment for things like dashboards and tail lights. The light that comes on when you put it in drive is probably the brake light. It goes on when you step on the brake and shift into drive.

try and take not when it blows to what is on a/c or blows when using windows or straight away
can put head light globe into fuse location head light lights up bright when short is present so you can then locate problem

Regular head lights do not work but high beam works

most likely it is indeed a fuse problem...they will be located under the steering column.
