When running motor battery is not being charged

How old is the battery?
Look for loose or corroded connection at either end of the main battery cables. If you drain the battery enough times......or leave it down too long.....you will need to replace it TOO, regardless of what the original problem was.
Better to check battery with the bike running. At idle (~1K rpm, not loping idle) it should be a tad above the bare battery voltage.....like .1 or .2. Above 2K, it should be at least 13.0 V. and 14.0 is typical if the battery is not fully charged and healthy.
Bottom line: if it reads 13.0 or more when the bike is running, then it is likely that the battery is the problem.
One simple way to test for alternator function is to rev the engine and watch the headlights. If the alternator is working well, you'll see the lights brighten from idle.
12.2v with engine running sounds like you have a charging issue, i.e alternator.

Check the power regulator from the alternator to the battery line.

Battery location

It's under the seat.

Buy a "BATTERY TENDER JUNIOR":

The "pig tail" on the lower right attaches to the battery terminals, and stay on the battery,
The charger plugs into this pig tail when charging.

Probably need new regulator/rectifier and check the stator coils for proper operation and output voltage.

I bought Dyson DC16 in 2008. Charged full but it only last for 1 minuet. Should I get a new charger? Is Dyson going to send me a new charger?

Your battery is losing voltage too quick. It has probably developed a 'memory'. Dyson claims that their handheld has the best suction out of all the handhelds out there. In order to maintain that claim the circuit board will shut off power to the motor when the voltage drops below adequate charge for full suction.
We need someone who can teach us to bypass that part of the circuit so it won't cut power to the motor or you need to get a new battery.
Shorting the battery like an Aircraft battery then re-charging won't fix it.

2006 Suzuki C90T Boulevard will not charge Battery. I put in a new battery and still have the same problem. Where is the alternator located?

the altanator is under the left side cover that bulges out, to test the out put with a meter find the plug with the 3 yellow wires that comes from that cover and test with meter set on ac volts 0 to 100 range. put the leads between the wires with them unplugged from harness, test all combantions and you should get about 60 ac volts when you rev motor to 3500 rpm. if this checks good you need the rectifier/regulator not the stator.
