Is the carburator a stock Kiehen or some other aftermarket carb? If it's a stock Kiehen, the float must be set with the carburator on an angle. If it's an S&S carb, the float level is 1/8" below the top edge of the float bowl. If you have a stock Kiehen, repost and I'll be more specific on how to set the float. I don't have my book with me at the moment and I don't want to tell you something incorrect. My memory ain't what it used to be and I always look at the book these days.
