SOURCE: bike won`t start.

Your Crank Position Sensor, or Cam Position Sensor is likely to be the problem. If there is no signal from crank position sensor, bike will not fire the coil. ECM has no referance to position of motor. Making timing imposible.

Why chevy blazer won t start after it rains ?

Its a possibility, that you can have a bad coil pack. start the vehicle, and spray the coils with a mist of water, from a spray bottle. If bad you see a spark. The coil pack is cracked somewhere.Meaning it was not water tight. It should be. Good-Day!

I have a 2001grand cherekee listed that won't stay

there can be a nuber of things. you could be losing spark. that would be ignition coil pack or spark plugs. you could be losing fuel pressure . the jeeps are known for bad fuel pumps. and the crank position sensor . this is my link to my garage

No spark comming from coil packs

You have a short hard to find if in the loom usually is connection directly to the back of ignition. Probably has caused the coils to fail if you replace coil pack without fixing the short you will burn out the coils again. Does it send power to the coils sometimes when ignition is off? this will destroy your coils over time

Car will start but won't stay running just kin of chugs

Was the car running fine before? If so try some dry gas as you may have water in the gas. Otherwise start with the fuel filter and from ther you will need to check the map sensor or coil packs!

coil pack keeps going out. It runs good for a while then loses 1-2 cyld. and runs bad, then suddenly starts running good again. Coil pack test out bad. What is causing the coil packs to burn out?

2005 chevy silverado won;t start.

i had the same problem, and it turned out the coil pack was moulding inside wich stopped the spark all together, i ended up changing my coil pack and putting on new wires because the ends connected to the coil were very corroded and that cures the not running part just fine

The bike runs for almost precisely 15 minutes, then dies

it may not be the coil. i got a bike that didnt run right, it came with box of spare parts and about 5 extra sets of coils. when i was talking to some buddies about what my bike was doing they told me that it was the coil. then i was talking to another buddy that used to work on motorcycles professionally he told me to check the points. I checked and adjusted them and now it runs just fine. so what i am trying to say is check your points before buying new coils.

Two cylinders won;t fire

if you have already replaced the plugs and wires, 1st check that all connectors are properly attached to the coil packs. if that is all ok, you should change BOTH coil packs. when they begin to go bad, they will only send spark to one plug.
