If you are talking about the CRF250r and not the CRF250X. I can probably help. I put a Fan on my CRF450R.To avoid over talking it without a specific question, what the X model has that the R model dose nt have is a clean DC power source, fan mounts, or Thermistat switch.

None of these are a big problem except when talking to other people to find out what you need.

I used a 2005 250x fan kit on my bike it comes with the most basic kit, a fan & a thermal switch.

Then I orderd a condencer from trail teck, to use instead of a battery. Not likly to ware out, and I, am not using a fan when the motore isnt running.

I alsoe neded a DC regulator. Basicaly all I am doing is adding a basic DC light Kit to my bike in oder to ad the DC Fan in its place. I run boath
I could not get any information on the fan From Honda without ordering one and testing the draw on my own.
It draws very little, a 250X youses a 35What light bulb wich is small and still can run the Fan.
The stator on the 250r has two leads making AC power. The aftermaket stator you buy should have two leads pluse two more leads that can be run as AC or DC light depending on if you yous one or boath of the extra wires.

Here is a link to see some one using the kit. IF I an figure ou t how to do it I will do one myself

If you have the room lee. Each fan will come with mounting hardware and temp sensin switch. You just have to run a hot wire and ground. zzzzzzzzzzthe hot can come off your battery and the ground anywhere on frame. The temp switch will serve as you onn /off switch. One fan is enough, around 12" good luck lee and make sure it is mounted tight or it could damage your radiator.

I have a honda cbr rr 600 i need to know how to change the radiator and the fan is also not working the bike runs very hot due to the radiator duhh rite but anyway if u can help me out i would highly...

Park the bike in a flat, easily accessible area, and stand the bike on its center stand. This will make the bike much easier to work on, and less likely to fall...drain coolant.
Use a standard Phillips screwdriver to remove the motorcycle's radiator shroud covers. On most Honda CBR models, the shroud covers will be secured by only three bolts...disconnect electrical end connections on the bottom edge of the radiator fan. Look for things like solder gapping, bubbling and corroding...Remove coolant hoses & mounting bolts & slide radiator and fan out. Inspect your hoses, flush and clean system. I would change thermostat now also. Make sure to use only Honda approved coolant when you refill. This is very important for the life of the pump and cooling system. Good luck, i hope this helps.

Fan that controls heating and cooling inside has stopped working

Your problem sounds like either the fuse has blown due to a short or over load /or the switch is faulty, but its best to take it to a Auto Elect Shop for a checkover.

2008 Honda CRF 250 R after the bike is warmed up it will not start

Hi, Holdennguyen your bike starts great when cold but once it reaches operating temperature and the engine is shut off for a few minutes then you try to restart it and it will turn over but will not fire or it doesn't do anything, the usual suspects are:
1. When electronics get hot they build up resistance then stop working. It might be an ignition coil, stator, CDI unit etc. First, you must find out if the spark dies out. When the bike won't start, pull a plug wire off, stick a new spark plug in the end and ground the threads on bare metal while someone cranks the engine over. You should see a nice big blue spark between the spark plug gap. Incorrect spark plug gap will cause or contribute to a no start when hot issue.
2. Fuel Tuners have been known to cause this type of problem, disconnect it and see if resolves the issue.
3. Any engine management sensor could be faulty especially the ones that monitor temperature.
4. Gas cap not venting properly, improperly routed fuel lines they must always go down from the gas tank to the carburetor never in any kind of a loop this will cause a vapor lock. Clogged, bent, kinked, pinched or restricted carburetor vent lines will do the same.
5. Overhead camshaft valves adjusted too tight when cold, this will cause loss of compression when hot, except for pushrod engines they usually get looser when hot.

Elect.radiator fan does not come on , checked fan, works. When engine gets to temp. no power to fan.

The radiator fan "relay switch" may be faulty.
Replace the little black box in the fusebox under hood.

Does the 1989 Honda GL 1500 Goldwing have a water pump.

Well, this is a water cooled bike. Few things can cause this:
1.) Low water in radiator.
2.)Dirty blocked clogged radiator fin openings, or clogged inner radiator with rust and sludge.
3.) Electric coolong fan not working- could be temp sensor, fan relay or fan motor itself.
4.) Worn radiator pressure cap.
