Where is transmission filter located in 2001 mitsubishi diamante located and how do i change it?

transmission filter in the bottom of transmission bolted to valve body.you need a large drain pan.place drain plug under transmission oil pan.remove transmission oil pan drain plug.let all transmission fluid drain out then screw back drain plug in oil pan.then you need to remove transmission oil pan then remove filter and replace pan gasket also.make sure you have right amount transmission fluid on hand.buy extra because if you short of fluid you cant drive car if fluid level too low.make sure you get the right amount fluid.torque pan bolts to 96 inch pounds.

Where do i find the plug to drain and chang the oil for a 2001 dyana super glide?

The oil tank is on the bottom of the transmission. The oil drain plug is the plug closest to the front left of the tank. Just loosen it up and allow just a drop to come out to make sure you've got the oil drain and not the transmission drain which is under there as well. The oil should be black while the trans fluid will be more clean looking usually. If you drain the transmission, refill with 20-24 ounces of H-D Syn3 20W50 engine oil, H-D Primary and Transmission lube, or a suitable substitute.

Good Luck
Steve

Location of oil drain plug on harley davidson road king

The tank on your Road King is on the bottom of the transmission. Look underneath the transmission and you'll see two drain plugs. The plug on left front of the oil pan is the engine oil drain. The plug near the center of the pan is the transmission drain plug. Good Luck, Steve

I have a 2001 FLHTCUI. Where do you add transmission fluid and is there a dipstick? It says there is in the owners manual but I can't seem to find it.

Yes, there is a dipstick. Right where your engine and transmission come together, there is a round cap about an inch and a half (40mm) in diameter or so with knurled edges. This is the oil spout plug and it has a dipstick. Check your oil with the bike on the side stand. There are two marks on the stick. The two marks indicate Full Hot and Full Cold. The oil level should be between these two marks. Do not overfill the oil tank that is on the bottom of the transmission.

On the bottom of the transmission threre are two drain plugs. The drain plug in the center is the transmission fluid drain, the drain on the left front is the oil drain plug. You engine takes three quarts of oil with the filter change. You transmission take 20-24 ounce of H-D transmission lube.

For a 2001 Harley Ultra Classic where is the oil drain plug located

The oil tank is on the bottom of the transmission. There are two drain plugs, one for the engine oil and one for transmission lube. The engine oil drain is the one closest to the left front of the oil tank. The drain that is more in the center is the transmission drain.
