When the bike first starts the ABS circuitry is tested and the light should go out within a few seconds. The ABS can not be turned off while the bike is in motion, you must come to a stop for that. Consult your owner's manual for the specific procedure for deactivating the ABS. Once it is deactivated your light will flash very slowly until the system is reactivated or the bike is turned off.
