What are the torque specs for the derby bolts on hd fxst


84 - 108 in/lbs. Do NOT use loktite and do not overtighten otherwise you will have dificulty in removing these later on. These are not structural bolts, simply cover bolts. For those without a torque wrench, a 'snug' fit will suffice.

Outer primary cover torque specs for 2005 road king


Hi Anonymous, starting in the middle and in a spiral pattern outward torque bolts/screws to 5 ft lbs. then repeat the process to a final torque of 10 ft lbs. Inspection and derby covers are 8 ft lbs. Good luck and have nice day.

What is the torque specs for derby cover and timer cover.


Not very much, they are sealed by rubberized gaskets I believe nowadays. I'd just snug the fasteners without too much force so you won't strip out the threads.

use a 3/8 ratchet with the torx bit and rest a little pressure on it and you fine Do not over tighten no not use loctie even and snug
