Question about 2001 Honda NSR 125 R
Place the ignition key in the helmet lock keyhole (rear left hand side of the seat) turn half a turn so that the helmet lock slides down (now you know where to leave your helmet when you have to leave it with the bike). BEHIND that hook (closest to the wheel side) is another one. That will now push down on a sprung return. The seat should pop up but if it's a bit snug then whilst pushing down on the catch (to keep it released) gently pull up the rear of the seat. Now the lock is disengaged slide it backwards 2 cms and all the other retainers will slide out. Hey presto seat and bike have now parted company. Good luck putting it back on it's harder to get all the slidy bits to re-engage (particularly the two in the middle that have to slide onto two "pegs").
