Question about Suzuki VS 800 Intruder Motorcycles

Suzuki VS 700 Intruder replace fuel pump

Actually, I have a Suzuki Intruder VS700G. The problem seems to be the Electric Fuel Pump. There is a hairline crack on top. The motor runs but only the pipes on the left side get hot while the other maybe gets lukewarm. I was told the Fuel Pump needs to be replaced. The relay was bypassed and it seemed fine but only for a minute or two then back to the way it was. They said it definitely is a fuel pump. Any ideas? Thanks! Saddlebackmac

1995 900 S fuel pump was replaced a couple of months ago,but recently gas has started leaking heavily and puddling on top of the pump I cant see any leaks on the lines. Where can it be coming frm?

some times the plastic housing can get a hairline crack(stress crack) in it, could have happened during install. Crack can be very hard to see with out magnifying glass while car is running look for leak while viewing top of fuel pump assy.***** follow all safety precautions concerning flammable liquids****

Sound like it's time to get the carbs looked at.

It wouuld seem your float is bad, stuck, or not properly adjusted,; thus causing too much fuel to enter the cylnder
