The bike may misfire at different speeds or under different conditions so one would need to know these circumstances to diagnose further than spark plugs which are cheap and a good starting place.

SOURCE: 2005 FLHRS - FLHRSI Road King Custom: did the 05 road king classic come with or could be...

You could have the dealership install the 103 CI kit if you like but no it didnt come from the factory with that engine in it already, only the CVO bikes such as the FLHRSE and FLHRSEI came with the 103 CI motor installed from the factory.

SOURCE: can i bypass the security system on a 2005 road

You can not bypass a that system because it has matching resistors in the ignition switch that follows down to the ic igniter and if the resistance isn't the same. The whole system won't start.

How to install the battery on a 2005 HD Road King Custom. Where is it? How to get to it?

Since I've never installed a battery in this year model road king, I would suggest this. Find the battery cable that connects to the starter. Follow the battery cable and see where it goes. If it goes up, take the seat off. If it goes down, take the side covers off.

Good Luck
