SOURCE: 2008 Suzuki GSX650F rear brake light doesnt come on only the fron

There are three most likely cases. The sensor/switch may be bad, it may be stuck, or the spring that actuates the sensor/switch may be broken when the rear brake is applied. In my case, the spring was broken.

Is there a headgasket issue? With cars and trucks having that milky/murkey oil is a sign of water or coolant in the oil.same true 4bike? I have an 08 suzuki gsx650f. thoughts? Helpful ones please. thx

If the bike has a coolant system and the oil is milky, yes it is a head gasket that is bad. You can use a cylinder leak down test of a compression tester to isolate the cylinder.

We're is the body control module located on a 2008 Suzuki xl7

bcm
is covered in the service manual.
SM
the real manual is only 4 lousy bucks.
read it?
the real book to ,not FAKE
btw best is to leave it alone, as its not bad, 99% of time.
ever use your scan tool first and fuses
or ask for help first with symtpoms?

I have a 2009 Suzuki GSX650F that stutters after it has warmed up. The stuttering will not go away until the engine has been switched off for a while.

Hi, Mark and the usual suspects are:
1. Extremely lean fuel mixture.
2. Dirt, rust, water, or ethanol sludge in the fuel system.
3. Sticky throttle cables.
4. Multiple carburetors not in synchronization.
5. TPS sensor out of adjustment or faulty.
6. Wrong spark plugs for the type of service.
7. Throttle bodies not in synchronization (FI)
8. Faulty O2 sensor.
9. Clogged, stuck, or faulty IAC valve.
10. Aftermarket components not compatible with ECM.

Put in new battery starer wont do anything and cant hear fuel pump run like normal

Check the main fuse if you have power to nothing (ie headlights).
also the starter solenoid could be bad. that is easy to test, you can just jump power from the main wire to the small lead that goes to the start button.
also starter could be bad....
start at the easiest thing to test and work your way deeper...

Where is the battery?

1. It should be under the seat just about a foot behind the tank so remove the seat.

2. Some models have the battery under the sidecovers if the bike has sidecovers.
