2010 kia rio lx spark plug torque specificatons

Ignition coil hold down bolts are thin and could snap if over tightened. Just run the bolts down snug by hand and then give it 1/8 turn . Its just enough to keep the coils from vibrating loose.

How to changr drive belt

To change the final drive belt on a Wide Glide is a big job but not quite as big as on some other models.

You will have to pull the entire primary drive assembly, including the clutch and the inner primary cover from the engine and transmission. You'll have to remove the exhaust system, the starter, the rear wheel, and the left side rear shock. On a Wide Glide, you do not have to remove the swing arm.

There are some "special tools" necessary to do the job as well. You'll need a torque wrench capable of applying 150-165 pounds of torque to the engine sprocket shaft nut and 60-80 pounds LEFT-HANDED torque to the mainshaft nut in the clutch assembly. Not all torque wrenches do left-handed torque. You'll also need a "locking bar" to lock up the primary drive while you apply these torques to prevent the engine from turning. A good solid way to get the bike off the ground is necessary as well.

It's an all-day job for an experienced mechanic with the proper tools to do the job with.

Good Luck

How do u change the drive belt on a 2001 dyna super glide

This is a major job. It requires that the entire primary drive, including the engine compensator sprocket, primary chain, clutch assembly, inner primary cover, and starter be removed from the engine. The rear wheel will also have to come out. Luckily, the way the Dyna frame is designed, you won't have to pull the swing arm off to change the belt, just remove the left shock absorber. You will need a torque wrench(es) that will retorque the engine sproket nut to 150-165 foot pound and the clutch assembly nut to 60-80 foot pound in the LEFT HANDED direction. You'll also need some way to lock the primary up while you apply these torques. We use a locking bar to do this which is simply a bar long enough to properly place in the teeth on the engine sprocket and the clutch drum to lock the assembly up while applying the torque. The engine does not have enough compression to all for the application of this amount of torque.

Here again, this is quite an involved job. I would suggest that you purchase a H-D service manual. It's far too involved for me to give you step by step instructions via this forum.

BTW: You didn't mention why you wanted to change the final drive belt. I wouldn't mess with changing it until I noticed cracks forming along the inside lugs or they started breaking off. The job is difficult and the belt is EXPENSIVE. I've seen these belts run 50-60K miles with no problem.

How do I remove the primary to get to my primary shift lever on a 2005 harley super glide

This is a major job. Far too much information for this forum. It will require a lot of typing in this small space.

First, you'll need a few tools that you may or may not have. You'll need an air impact wrench capable of breaking a nut with 165 foot pounds of torque and red locktite on it. Next you'll need a torque wrench capable of putting 150-165 foot pounds of torque on the nut. You'll also need a torque that will torque to 60-80 foot pounds LEFT HANDED. Not all torque wrenches will torque left handed threaded fasteners. If you have these or can get them, Please drop me a line at I'll type out instructions step by step.
