Get a service manual for your bike. Hanes or Ducati will have something in book form. If you have a motorcycle, get the manual for it.

Needs to be removed and indexing on the shifter inside the trans. You could have worn or bent shift forks. Or bad gear dog wear. It's a racing bike, someones been racing it. It's 13 years old. Rebuild time

it means a shop job I'm afraid. Someone was talking a clutch plate clean. That sounds like a good idea. A dirty clutch will act up. But your talking shifting. If it needs work , it's into a shop. Need to be careful with ducati's anything aluminium is easy to damage

SOURCE: 2008 Ducati S4RS dry clutch

It is a dry clutch on your bike, no oil on the clutch plates only clutch dust. That year Ducati is also a Tricolore, so they only made that model with clutch plates are "Dry". It may be a bad clutch master slave or the clutch master is sucking air into the system.

SOURCE: sometimes my bike gets stuck in between gears and

If it only gets finicky trying to find neutral, it's perfectly fine. I have a 2000 monster 750 dark, and had a 2003 998S and both had issues finding neutral. It is because of the straight cut gears in the transmission. It is designed for very positive shifts, to help eliminate the chance of damage from missed shifts. If you are having issues while riding down the road, you most likely have a shift fork problem, and the transmission will need to be removed and serviced. STOP RIDING IT if this is the case. You can and will do much more severe damage by continuing to ride it with this condition.

SOURCE: gear sticking after fluids change

If the problem started after a flush I would definitely re-bleed the system. I personally prefer to use Speed Bleeders.

Sometimes my bike gets stuck in between gears and i have to play with the gearshift until it finds a gear again. what could the problem be?

Does it get stuck while driving or while shifting to neutral to shut off? My 750 gets finicky only when going to neutral, when driving it shifts perfect. I had a pro take it for a spin one day and he said it was fine. So,,, maybe get somebody from the dealer, or another Ducati owner to try it and see what they think.

2002 yamaha shifts hard

This sounds like a shift fork or two is bent. The engine has to be torn down to get to the shift forks and gears.
