Try a product called "Goof Off"...we use it to remove paint left by vandals.
Test an inconspicuous area first, to make sure it doesn't remove the good paint....

Try the link below, it has a massive bike-alog, with all components and colours. Start with the English version and enter make, then model, if link is not already in the Yamaha section.

Removing paint

Hi, Anonymous for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix or parts inquiry. If necessary transport your vehicle to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. Chrome knobs, can't read them. substitute?

Pain isn't it? Finding compatible knobs is a problem... often they are odd shaft sizes and reaches.

CONSIDER this... remove and paint them with flat black paint and then paint a stripe where the original black on is... guaranteed compatible fit, and you can get the job done in a couple hours for paint to dry. You MAY have to lightly sand the knobs to get paint to stick but that shouldn't take long... try one first as chrome doesn't take paint very well.. If the knobs are metal thoughout, you can just take a hacksaw blade to cut where the line is to expose the metal as the pointer line. The knobs are probably sputtered plastic though...

Pulsar 150 - Some knocking after i got a service 3 days back...

It could be the exhaust baffles which are in the exhaust pipe tht have given away, you can remove the exhaust pipe assy and get it cut underneath and get the baffles electric welded..or rather spot welded and weld the exhaust back but the chrome will burn off and rust may thn take over ..or unless you paint tht area black( heat ressistant paint.),or better off is to replace the complete exhaust pipe assy.
Hope this helps!

My car is black and the paint on the top of the car has white age or oxidation patches

you are going to have to buff out the paint with a polish compound if you dont know how to buff a car properly you will end up with swerle marks keep the buffer flat use 6000 rpms and dont keep it on one spot too long or you will burn the pain i sugest if you dont know how to take it to a detail shop and get it buffed out. there are diffrent compounds that work better than others .

Service man says light engine. how much? jvc model hd52g886

Whites are yellow can be a convergence or color balance problem, and lamp going out could also be a bad ballast board, black spots are usually light engine, could be a different fault on DMD board.

The fact is that when you get all this symptom together unavoidably you have a faulty light engine.

The light engine is the most expensive part to replace, its price for this model is always over $1600 ( I know, keep the heart tablets at hand).

Here is the part for your model: TS-COP7A-SAA-R

Inside white porcelain paint has defects

It should be sanded smooth and clean and dried thoroughly.

Then you can apply some high-temperature appliance paint, available from places like Wal-Mart, Lowe's or Builder's Square.

It's normally enamel on sheet metal, not porcelain.
