I assume you are talking about on deceleration. This generally indicates an air leak in the exhaust system, check and reseal your flange gaskets and check any other joint in the pipe.
If exhaust is aftermarket they sometimes crackle and splutter on decel if they are poorly designed. Hope this helps. :-)

My truck spits out of the exaust and throttlebody


what does it spit out. and does it run or you just trying to turn it over. what does the fluid look like. for example if you have water spitting out you have a big problem. if its spitting fuel out then you could have a broken or bent valve. if its oil you could have a broken piston or broken rings. only 3 fluids that it could be. all have big signs that something is wrong. did the truck have any issues before this happened. the more information you can add the easier it is to help.

2001 intruder exaust sounds restricted on one side running rough


if its carbureted- check fuel delivery on that cylinder- I had same issue on a 2 cyl Vulcan. it was dirty carb- restricted passages.

I have a 1986 ford f350 that runs great bottom end but spits an sputters mid to top speed. ANy ideas?


Float level in carby,fuel filter clogging up, insufficiant fuel preasure from pump. blocked or dirty fuel and fuel lines. Other things related to the carby could also be at fault

Check the EGR make sure it is not stuck open. Then Check the timing and check for dirt and grease and moister in and on the Distributor cap and on the rotor check spark gap and clean plugs with fine sandpaper.

it could be either of the pcv valves, it could also be the o2 senser on the exaust
