cam dots or lines should face them self on top dead center of compression stoke the lines should be one at 9 oclock one should be at 3 oclock

To start with check the fluid level. You may need to bleed it. A 08 shouldnt need to be changed. Hopefully this the problem. Aclutch cable is allitle easier to diagnos but eith the hydralic you have a few more possiblities.But somehow the plates are not releasing fully.

At the bottom of your clutch assembly is an "Anti judder spring" it is in contact with the first steel clutch plate, over time the anti judder spring wears into the steel clutch place which closes the clearance over the fibre clutch plate creating clutch drag. Fix it by turning the steel clutch plate around, this will restore the required clearance for the clutch to function correctly.
