HOW DO I GET RID OF RED CANDLE WAX FROM COTTON PLACE MAT THAT HAS BEEN WASHED AND PLACED IN FREEZER. STILL THERE

Candle wax usually melts around 130F, water boils at 212F. Heat the water to 150 or so and the wax will melt, since its lighter than water it floats to the surface, and away from your garment. Let cool, remove wax. Try to make sure the garment stay at the bottom, small weight etc. If the water temp of you hot water is set at 140 you may get away with just letting it sit in that for a while.

Can flameless candles be used indoors and outdoors?

Sure, that's the great thing about flameless candles - they are weather proof as the wind won't blow the candle out. But be careful in extremely hot temperatures as the heat could melt the actual wax of the candle.

Wax melted into air intake vent...thanks mom....HELP!

remove the top case and take it apart piece by piece. just get the wax off of major components. it's not a conductor, but it does keep in the heat. just make sure it does not get into the optics or any of the motors (fans or colorwheel). if it get into the lamp, it's as good as gone. if it's on the main board, scrape it off with a toothpick. don't use metal. for the power supply, same thing. if it's on the colorwheel, replace it. you can't clean it off well enough for it to work properly again. if it gets into the fan motor, replace the fan. good luck.

Hi, I washed a candle, yes candle, in my daughters brand new lg dishwasher and now it doesnt work. Surprising i know. After spending days tearing it apart and removing all the wax out of the inside as well...

The problem is that when you ran a wash cycle.. the heater came on and melted the candle and some wax probably ended up in your pump or hoses in/out of that pump.. Since you did not provide a specific model number, I cannot provide specific details on how to dismantle everything but here is a link that you can get service manuals etc for LG products. Hopefully, yours is listed there and the details will be clear enough for you to clean everything up and get water draining again. http://136.166.4.200/contents/Dishwasher/LDF6810.htm
You might also find a detergent ( I am thinking liguid plummer or something ) that might break up any wax residue without having to open everything up to clean it.. Good luck and hope this helps you...
