red wires are normally hot or power wires and if going to ground then that is a short that will blow fuses

Engine ground wire

Grounds are very important in these vehicles. Usually, the ground will go from the battery through a thick cable to the engine. There will also usually be a smaller wire going from the ground on the battery to one of the fenders. There will then be several ground wires going from the engine to various points on the chassis. An example would be a ground wire going from the back of the cylinder head to the firewall. Chrysler's use a system to energize critical engine components through the ASD or Automatic Shutdown Relay. In this system, power is sent to important components like fuel injectors, ignition coils and fuel pumps at all times via the ignition switch, relays and fuses. The computer then makes or breaks the grounds based off of data from various sensors. A faulty ground to the computer, battery, frame or chassis could easily result in a no start condition. Make sure all grounds are connected as required and are free of corrosion. Running extra ground wires from the battery to the engine and chassis can always help things as well.

I turn on the heater fan and the motor stalls

check battery voltage or try skin the ground wire of blower motor and place a jumper between ground wire of blower motor wire and a good ground on engine
if with a good ground the engine don't stall then it was the ground find out where is the ground to
it could be a common ground with other component

Ground wire keeps burning out

Sounds like the ground wire is not grounding properly. Maybe not tight enough or the thing it is grounded to is not properly grounding to the engine. Try grounding to a different spot on the engine where there will be a good ground and see what happens. Possible the starter is pulling too much power and needs replacing. I had that happen some time ago.

It needs a switch couse it wont shut off and canadian tire has no parts

Machines that won't shut off are 99% of the time a ground failure. You can check the kill wire at the engine (most times black of green) and see if touching it directly to ground kills the engine. if it does not kill the engine you can figure it is not the frame or wiring of the tractor but in the engine wiring. If the engine shuts off when you ground that wire then the issue is in the tractor wiring and most likely the ground wiring to or from the key switch. If the wires are okay then the key switch is the problem.
You can contact a dealer like www.arcolawn.com can get you parts if needed.

1998 honda ground wire connection

the starter has one 4 guage wire but this is positive coming from the battery and the ground wire is connected to any part of the engine so the best way or the best thing you can do is follow the ground wire from your battery (black) and see if is connected to the engine some carts they do have one ground wire connected to the bolts holding the starter to the engine also make sure you have connected the positive wire to the starter
