SOURCE: 2006 Ridley auto glide classic will not hold a charge. Bought new battery and she started but as soon as it was off, no start agian. no lights nothing. Silence. What is causing this?

Doesn't sound like the bike is charging your battery. Check the voltage regulator and the stator.

I have a Ridley Auto-Glide 2003 (pull down didnt have 2003 so selected 2007), that cuts off on me. I can ride at night when it is cool, and it doesn't happen. It appears to only happen in the daytime...

Look for overheating ignition components. Charging system would have nothing to do with this condition. Test to see if you have spark during the time that the unit will not run....

Oil filter

what is the stock # for the oil filter? It is not listed in the manual or at least I can't find it. The oil is listed as 20W-50 do we also use the 10W-50 for the 07 model? Thank youYes the Owners Manuals are the same for '06-'07 except for the cover and maybe a typo correction or two. The filter is our part #11801 (K&N 171C). It's a good question and one that I answer often. We changed the factory recommended oil in 2007. I wish I had a way to say this where it was clear and available for everyone but here it is: THE CORRECT OIL FOR ALL AUTO-GLIDES REGARDLESS OF YEAR MODEL IS 10W30 MOBIL1, SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL. THE CORRECT AMOUNT IS 1 3/4 QUARTS. THE LEVEL ON THE STICK SHOULD BE 1/8 BELOW THE TOP HOLE IN THE STICK WITH THE BIKE IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION. THE DIPSTICK MUST BE SCREWED ALL THE WAY IN TO MEASURE THE LEVEL.,,,
