You must open the right hand engine cover.Unscrew the bolts with the springs and remove the plate and all the disks as a group.Don't mix them up.Wet the new ones with engine oil and place them exactly as the old ones were.

I have a 1997 gsxr 750 srad and it has the standard tokka front break calipers, problem is they stick ,My question is can I fit a different set of calipers and what make are good and will fit .

Hi, Nick those calipers worked fine for 20 years if they are sticking a little rebuild them with a new caliper kit, it;s a lot cheaper for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere zero $ you can download another one. Hi, i have a 1996 gsxr 750 srad and was wondering where the sensor for the speedo was?

Hello,
The speedometer sensor is located in the countershaft sprocket cover. This is the cover at the lower left rear of the engine. If you are having speedometer problems, be sure and check the speedometer rotor that is on the end of the countershaft. They have come loose and caused problems.

I have a 1999 suzuki gsxr-750 srad,it is a great bike but is it supposed to **** hard when the clutch is FULLY engaged when shifted into 1st gear?and where do i pour the clutch fluid if it uses any?

There should a removable cap near the clutch lever. It should be held on with two or three screws. This would be your clutch cylinder. Any problems give me a shout.

Have the same problem on mine. Putting it on a rolling road tomorrow
to check fuelling as it may be float heights or fuel pump. Will post you any positive result.

WHEN MY GSXR 750 SRAD GET TO 215 DEGREES IT BEGINS TO HESITATE IN FIRST GEAR.

Hi Datprboi1

I think you may have an electrical problem connected to the radiator cooling fan as 215 F is about the temperature that this will start so as to cool the engine. So it may possibly be the fan motor or the sensor switch. Good Luck
