I have a toro ccr2000 that starts but when I get to the snow it shuts off

Shuts off -I would look for a bare place on the spark plug wire. Slows down and stops under load (snow) then check for a bind in the throttle linkage. The govenor is not opening the throttle as the engine slows down.

Can i take apart the lower part of my briggs and stratton to repair my govenor?

Are you saying that it surges at full throttle and wont idle down or shut off? If so it is likely not a governor problem. Surging is a lean condition. Some models, particularly yard machines, will surge no matter the adjustment unless under a load. If it were a governor issue it would run faster and faster beyond full throttle. IF it wont idle down check the throttle control and throttle linkage and check for a sticking throttle shaft before suspecting governor. Not shutting off could also be in the throttle control. A ground clip is in the control. if the tab is not engaging the clip or the wire is not connected then the motor will not ground. Check those things before messing with the governor, especially if the machine was running good and no one has messed with it yet. Governors don't just come out of adjustment by themselves.

NISSAN LEC 93 SHUTTING DOWN WHEN SLOWING DOWN

Engine stalling and rough run issue at low speeds

This problem is commonly caused by a dirty automatic idle speed control valve and throttle valve. Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (do not use carburetor spray cleaner!) from NAPA or Carquest (made by CRC chemicals) and spray it into the air intake while the engine is running, use up about 1/2 the can, engine will try to stall hold the speed up, shut it down and let it soak for 30 minutes, restart and blow out the remaining fluid, shut it down and disconnect the negative battery cable for 5 Min's to reset the base idle control

If i buy a throttle position sensor on line for a 2004 kia sorento, is it hard to replace on my own or do i need to go to the dealer? where is the sensor located??

No. Actually it is quite easy. On the top of the engine hooked to the air intake manifold is the throttle plate. You will see where the throttle cable is hooked to the throttle plate. The sessor you are looking to replace is just on the other side or the throttle plate form where the throttle cable attaches. It is usually a small round or oval shaped electrionc sensor. It is held on by two screws. All you have to do is remove the screws and install the new sensor. Careful when you install the new one as it will have a small groove in the center that aligns with the shaft on the throttle plate. just line it up, put the screws in and reattach the electrical plug. Now you saved $100.00 in labor costs by doing it yourself with Fixya.com. Thanks for asking us.

Engine keeps cuting out when breaks are applied

I would say idle air control valve sticking. its common on Renaults. This valve controls the air passing through the throttle body when you open and shut throttle. eg, foot down throttle open, the idle valve will be shut. back off throttle, then the air is shut off through main throttle body, so the valve opens to allow just enough air in for tickover. if valve sticking or moving to slowly it will not open in time to catch the idle when throttle shut, hence it cuts out.
