Have you removed the clutch assy gear as there may be a plate with bolts on either side of casings ! bolts on top and bottom side ov cases out ? if all out then there are places to hit with hard mallet and pri with levers , there are several dowels to connect cases in place and sealant !

SOURCE: I have a 89' 600 katana gsxr. the trans is stuck in

Unforturntly yes! When you have it apart may as well freashen up the hole motor. If it need seals replace, if it need bearings replace, Messure the cyclinders and pistons and rebore and replace pistons, rings, gaskets ext ext. Being a 89 it would have alot of mile on it and if you rebuild the engine you will have a fresh engine and will have trouble free miles for a long time.

Do i need to remove engine studs on 1989 GSXR 1100 to split the crank case?

Usully, studs are simply bolts that have removable nuts on them. You should not have to remove the studs to split the case.

1989 GSXR 1100 splitting the crank case?

answered my own question. No you do not have to remove engine studs to split the case. You do have to make sure that all of the case bolts are removed, even if they arent in the manual.

How to Replace front fork seals on Suzuki GSXR 1100 K model

Remove front wheel, brake calliper etc . Undo top and bottom yoke pinch bolts and slide out fork leg. Clamp chrome tube in a soft jawed vice and remove top nut carefully as it is under some load and will fly away, (but its not too much you can hold it with your hand). Tip out remaining oil slowly so as to not loose spacer on top of main fork spring. Clamp lower aluminium leg in vice by calliper mounts and remove allen screw in extreme end (if the wheel spindle was in you couldnt see it) This is the only part that might be a problem as the inner end may turn. An impact wrench may help or if not a simple broom handle shoved up the other end is often enough. Once this bolt is removed the leg will split. Now lever out the dust cover to reveal the wire circlip holding in the fork seal. Remove the clip and lever out carefully the old fork seal. Fit new seal using a large socket and mallet or something similar and reassemble in reverse order, not forgetting to add correct amount of new fork oil.

Where is the tension pulley on a 1997 saab 900s

You mean the serpentine belt . Do you ? If thats what you mean, the tensioner is a component that has a bolt at the middle which when lossened with a wrench will lossen the tension on the serpentine belt it has a spring and can be moved . if it was a seperate belt it woud have a bolt and a brace with a U shaped hole in the middle. You would lossen the bolt and pull on the belt and it lossens up.
