How do I correct the clanking noise in the rear of my Schwinn 24" Meridain Tricycle?

It could be that the chain needs tensioned, or if it is a coaster brake, the hub may need serviced. The noise could be coming from anywhere and your best bet is to have a qualified mechanic look at it.

Hi, when i'm coming off the third and the second gear mainly the 2nd gear it makes a clanking noise

My first thought here is your drive shaft u joints, but only because I've been stranded more than once by these. The higher torque of second will definitely make a worn u-joint "clunk". with the window down listen carefully as you engage and release your clutch in 1st gear, if you here any "clunking" noise I would check your u-joints. To do this SAFELY;ie, using jack stand etc. get under your car and try to turn the drive shaft by hand with the car in gear. ANY play in the drive shaft is bad. I'm not sure if you meant you've changed your clutch and the pressure plate or you did change out you flywheel. either way whichever you did not change could definitely be warped.

My pajero manual transmission 4WD has a clanking noise after you have driven it for a long time. when the transmission becomes hot the clanking noise appears. but when i step on the clutch the noise...

hi.
a transmission problem when hot, but ok when cold, would suggest that the oil in the gearbox is getting too thin when it heats up.

you say that the transmission has been pulled out but do you know if the oil was actually changed in it.
if the oil has not been changed, drain it and replace with the specified oil.
if it was changed recently, then i would consider using a thicker grade transmission oil instead.

changing gearbox oil, is normally a matter of removing the drain plug on the bottom to drain the old oil, and then refilling using the level plug on the side of the engine.

Loud clanking noise in or outof gear if the clutch is not engaged

Sounds like a throw out bearing or pressure plate problem. Run it by a trany shop, and they should be able to tell quick and easily if that's the problem.

Loud clanking noise in gear if the clutch is not engaged

Almost sounds like a throwout bearing problem. Either way, bring the car back and make them fix it. It will be covered under the warranty so dont let them try to convince you otherwise.

Loud clanking noise in gear if the clutch is not engaged

That is what happens when you try to shift gear with out depressing the clutch pedal while changing gears.

My XL-MP130 stereo makes a racket...

What your machine is doing is... whenever the unit is powered on or off the cd player resets itself and the clanking you hear is the cd changer resetting itself.  The plastic trays of the cd player are driven by plastic gears.  These gears are noisy when new, after a few years, they can make quite a clanking noise.  Most cd changers of this age have similar mechanisms and this type of noise is inherent in their operation.      I'm afraid the only solution is to replace the unit.  Opening the unit to lubricate the gears may cause more problems than it may solve, so I would not recommend it.

Terrible noises

This would sound like possible differential noises, possibly a spider gear has a broken tooth or other defect. You could raise the backend off the ground (both wheels or one wheel at a time); place shifter in neutral, then have a friend turn one wheel, while the other is held in place (or left in contact with ground). If you get similiar (but probably less terrible), then remove the diff. cover (pan for oil needed), and look for any visible defects. Services of a mechanic might be needed.
