Question about 2001 Suzuki FXR 150
It has nothing to do with the battery. The two light bulbs that illuminate the display panel from the inside have to be replaced.
Do not attempt to unscrew the panel face. Those "screws" are fake! Instead, remove the front fairing to gain access to the back of the display panel. You will see two black rubber covers on the two ends of the back. Pull out the covers. This exposes the bulb. Twist it out and check if they are bad. Your moto shop should have them in stock. They are common bulbs. Put everything back on your bike and you should have light again. Good luck.

I am using this great LCD for about an year. But few times in the past my LCD didnt show up the display though the Green light was still ON, turning off the LCD and opening it again always solved the problem. But now My LCD completely went blank. Turning off/on didnt work at all now. I've tried couple of other tweaks mentioned on this site but they didnt work. I am just seeing a blank screen with green light ON. and ya theres a very low hissing sound coming from the LCD.
