Hi, Anonymous and the usual suspects are:
1. Oil tank/pan overfilled.
2. Restricted oil return line to oil tank/pan.
3. Restricted breather operation.
4. Restricted oil filter.
5. Piston rings badly worn or broken.
6. Valve guides are worn and or seals worn, crushed, missing, or have come of guide and is pumping oil through the valve guide.
7. O-ring damaged or missing from oil pump at crankcase junction (also results in poor engine performance). For more information about your issue, please visit the websites below. Good luck and have a nice day.

White smoke Audi 2.0 non turbo is this connected to excessive oil consumption is a 60k mile engine A4 reg 2001.

White smoke is usually coolant burning, but you say no loss of coolant, so must be oil burning. PCV is possible fault, especially since you say smoke is intermittent. Part itself should be cheap, less than $20. One your car I believe it is located in a pipe running from intake to valve cover.

Seat alhambra leaking oil from exhaust and smoking

The most likely cause is a worn bore and the oil is leaking past the rings. It is possible that the oil is entering the combustion chamber through a breather.

What makes a 2005 Yamaha YZ 450 F Blow Oil Out The Crank Case Hose Into The Breather And White Smoke Out The Pipe Thanks

Hi, Shawn_luke_I oil level readings are taken when the engine has reached normal operating temperature and the usual suspects are:
1. Overfilled oil tank dipstick reading should at or below full.
2. If the sight glass is full you are running to much oil.
3. Excessive blowby caused by worn out piston rings.
4. Piston rings never properly seated.
5. Faulty breather valve or system.
6. Pinched or clogged breather line/hose.
7. Clogged or failed oil filter.
8. Contaminated oil dirt-rust-water etc.
9. Excessive oil foaming.
10. Wrong oil type not designed for your bike.

Had tappet cover gaskets replaced and new spark plugs, next day it started to blow blue/white smoke, worse on start up. Its never smoked before, in fact every clean tail pipe, but now it black with all...

Partially, this sounds insane. Here's what I would recommend doing just to try ... forget PCV, first of all. Next, drain all the oil out (Keep it, should be good) and flush the engine out by pouring maybe a quart-a gallon of kerosene down it. If there's anything blocking the flow, that'll get rid of it. Drain all that out. Put in a new oil filter. The goal is least resistance possible. Put all the oil back in, start it up. Rev to ~2000 RPM, until it gets up to temp. I'd suppose that this would check to see if the rings were damaged some how. If it still smokes, I'd be curious to know if your valve seals need replacing, or having a blowby test done, see if oil gets in.

White smoke from one tail pipe

As u know - that smoke is oil . can be cause by restricted breather or oil filter, worn valve guide or seals. or a bad piston ring which seems the most likely if its just coming outa one pipe. A compression test will tell ya if thats it

White smoke usually associated with water or moisture. it doesn't take too much water to produce white smoke. check
