2000 Ford F150 Signal Lights Wiring Diagram

Hi Raymond
Not sure about a wiring diagram but the circuits you mention are pretty straight forward. (I have a Ford 2000 Explorer.) These small circuits don't use a relay they just get fed directly from a fuse. The Signal lights also have a flasher in the circuit. Use a 12v test light to test for 12v on top of each fuse to find the open one rather than removing each.

Who know how to bypass coolent fan Thanks

it's not easy but it can be done, need a relay with harness and some wire. you must tap into the fan wire(positeve 12v) and run it to the switch side of the relay tap power(12v) constant to the relay and also a switch(12v) source and a ground ok it sounds hard but hre's a diagram 29968290-87b0-4ec1-8bba-df60277f7b84.gif

I have a horn that sounds when my hay baler chamber is full. I am looking for a timer relay that will allow the horn to sound for 3 to 5 seconds and then disconect the circuit so it won't drive me...

DEI 528T appears to be 12Volt 'wait to start' or ON-delay timer.
528 receives electrical signal, and then delays the start-circuit by up to 60 seconds.
For example home alarm system. Door is opened and alarm sounds. Install DEI 528 and set for 60 seconds: Door is opened and alarm will not sound for 60 seconds.

You need 12-volt off-delay timer.
Off-delay timer receives electrical impulse, and then begins a countdown.
After countdown expires, then circuit turns off.
ELK-960 appears to have off-delay feature for 12V DC
Use wiring diagram #7 for alarm cut-off:

Iam installing a code alarm elite 1100 in a chevy truck with man windows and door locks. my question is do i need to hook up the door trigger wires or just the ullim wire?

Yes, you will need to connect the yellow negative door trigger wire to the vehicle's white wire at the courtesy light. Otherwise the system will not trip if the doors were opened while the system was armed. The illuminated entry wire is optional. If you desire the illuminated entry feature you will need to add a relay for this option to work. When using a SPDT (Bosch/Tyco type) relay, the terminals should be wires as follows:

30 = to vehicle white wire
87 = to chassis ground
87a = no connection
85 = to alarm violet illuminated entry wire
86 = 12V constant (fused, no more than 5A)

Relays are wired correctly (all except one) what you are doing is supplying the one side of the relay contacts with +12V and one side of the relay energising coils with +12V. the other side of the relay coils are switched on independantly by the -0V from the various outputs from the alarm unit. When relay coils are energised +12V is output through the relay contacts to ACC (accessories) IG1 & IG2 and ST (starter) in sequence. The problem with the cicuit seems to be the IG1 & IG2 relay this seems to just switch +12V between IG1 & IG2 one of them remains on all the time according to weather the relay is energised or not - this is not right. So I have wired the n/o contact of the relay to IG (1 or 2) wire which controls the ignition circuit - this is usually the last ignition wire before the starter wire on the ignition switch.

1986 Chevy Caprice Classic Horn not working

Diagram should be on the inside of the fuse box or relay cluster lid/cover. If Test light has 1 wire and a sharp tip? Yes, but only if you push the horn button too ;-)

My guess is that the horn lost its ground, but you can check this with the light. The horn only beeps when both GROUND and Pos 12v are present. The horn button gives the relay 12v to close, and the relay gives the horn 12v to operate. The ground is always connected.

Connect tester clipwire to 12v source (battery, headlight (has to be on) and touch its tip to metal of car. Does it light? Good. the tester is working and the 12v is a good source.

Touch one of the 2 horn connection or wires (poke it thru the plastic - why tip is sharp). Does it light? Touch the other, does it?

If both light, (1 will be brighter) we can assume the horn coil is good and it is getting a good ground and I was wrong (it happens... but not often). The side that is BRIGHTER is the ground wire side.

Now have someone mash the horn button. Do you hear a tiny click? That is the horn relay. If not, look for the horn relay fuse and replace it. If you DID hear the click, the relay coil is good and is trying to switch 12v to drive the horn.

Now is time to locate and replace the horn fuse or the relay may have bad contacts. Look at the other relay part numbers in the cluster and see if there is a match for the horn one. Swap it out and try the horn.

Hope this all helps. To 'test' the horn, touch the dim side again anf listen for a scratching sound. That is the 12v going thru the tiny bulb in the tester (a resistance) and trying to drive the horn.

Good Luck!

I have a Mustang GT convertible with the Shaker 1000 system. I'm installing a Kenwood DNX8120. There are 3 plugs in the back of the factory radio. I only have 2 plugs that will match the factory plugs. one...

a savvy installer can make a circuit using your garage remote (installed in the dash) or some wireless lights (with remote) and with the push of a button, your (insert item here) will function.
Depending on the voltage required, one is really just a ground, and the other is a positive trigger.

It requires a SPDT relay, and if the remote is not 12V, a resistor of the right value to lower the voltage.
