How much oil and what kind do I use for a 1993 Suzuki GSXR 750?

As long as you aren't talking about Fork Oil, normally, the filler has a dipstick.

From here
http://www.gsxr.com/13-tech-performance-chat/25566-motor-oil-type-gsxr-750-04-a.html

so I found my manual; it specifies that an '04-'05 GSXR 750 should take SF or SE motor oil 10W-40. It does not say specifically that motorcycle oil should be used nor does it specify synthetic vs. regular. I also do not know whether SG or other grades of oil would be better. I probably ought to read an oil guide but, for the benefit of others, perhaps somebody could provide some input.

Fork Oil type and quantity is here

How much oil does a gsxr 1300 take during oil and filter change

The book calls for 3.7 or 3.8 qts with a filter change, but it will take 4 qts. The bike needs to be level front to back and side to side when you check the level. If you do it on a rear stand only it will show low and you will end up over filling it

Gsxr forks

The oil can be drained removing the NEAS system valves ( 2 allen bolts ).
System contains 456 cc ( 15.4oz.) oil in each leg.
the oil-level measured from the top of the COMPRESSED leg is 107mm.
To measure:
- have an oil-suction pump
- Make a tube with a stopper at 130mmfrom the end.
Drill a little hole ( 3mm ) at 107mm (4.21in) of the stopper.

More oil will tighten the suspension, less will soften it a bit.
Oil type: SAE15

Hope this helps
