Hi Anonymous, because of the time involved writing it, I would recomend you purchase a service manual it gives you step by step directions, pictures and diagrams, special tools, parts your going to need, torque specs ect. besides your going to need it for other DIY projects you may want to tackle in the future. Good luck

Hi,
a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Mechanic (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Where is the connector for

You have to put the connector on the battery. When you purchase the Battery tender, it comes with a "pig tail". You put the pig tail on the battery and run it to an inconspicous place. When you finish your ride, plug the battery tender in. Now, if you bought a bike with the tender already on it. Look closely around the edge of the seat for the connector. If you can't find it, you'll have to access the battery and follow the wires to the connector end.

Good Luck
Steve

What is involved in changing front brake pads on an 08 Streetglide

I haven't done a brake job on a bike this new but it shouldn't be any different than any other bike. Simply take the two bolts that hold the caliper on out. Remove the old shoes. Use either a large C-clamp or a large pair of slip joint pliers and squeeze the piston back into the caliper all the way. Install the new pads and put the caliper back in place. Replace the two bolts and torque them to 25 Foot pounds. Squeeze the brake lever until you have a good firm brake.

Good Luck
Steve

You don't have to but you should pull the caliper anyway, to clean it and check the anti-rattle spring.
