Hi, Anonymous for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your problem. SOURCE: Drain and change oil

I can't tell you all the particulars from the limited amount of pictures of your bike. -Remove the oil drain bolt on the bottom of the crankcase (the universal bolt size for bikes use a 17mm wrench). -Drain the oil (remember to recycle). -Re-install the drain bolt with a new sealing washer if necessary. -The oil fill cap should be some where on the top of the crankcase. About 1 or 25mm in diameter with a raised tab for turning. -Fill with recommended oil. -There are 2 ways to check oil level on dirt bikes: 1) Oil level check bolt. On the right side cover. 2) Oil level site glass. A 1 round piece of glass on the side of the crankcase. Usually by the kick start & R brake lever. -Always check the oil level with the bike upright (as if you were sitting on it). -Check bolt - fill with oil slowly until oil comes out of the check bolt and re-install it. -Sight glass - fill with oil to cover 3/4 of the sight glass. -Remember to hold the bike upright when adding oil.,

SOURCE: i want to have more horsepower

Hey. Replacing the stock cam with a performance camshaft will help. To gain more horsepower you should also make the airflow to the engine better. Replacing the stock sylinder with a big bore 150cc kit will sure make the engine more willing. The engine on a 08 Derbi senda baja model, is the same engine that you will find on a Yamaha TTR 125. So that is what you should search for. Hope it helps:)

Hi, Anonymous if your headlight is not working, keeps burning out or is dim the first thing you need to check is the headlight bulb for damaged filaments then check your light circuit fuse, that being said the usual suspects are:
1. Faulty ground or power supply wire to headlight bulb socket.
2. Worn, chaffed, or broken wires in the light circuit.
3. Corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets in wire connectors.
4. Faulty hi/lo beam switch.
5. Faulty ignition switch.
6. Fuse is good but no continuity on both sides.
7. Faulty wiring between battery positive and headlight bulb socket.
8. Weak charging alternator/generator.
9. Faulty voltage regulator/rectifier, overcharging.

I have a Derbi Senda SM Extreme and it is not charging the battery, have checked all the earths, the impedance on the stator, which has also just been changed. I have also tried 3 regulators. The voltage...

Hi, You may have the wrong regulator or it is not grounded properly in order to check out any main system electrical circuit, you have to start with a fully charged battery 12.5 volts or better, and be able to pass a load test if necessary.
1. Check battery terminals for damage or corrosion, check battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter if necessary.
2. Check the voltage drop at the battery when you hit the starter button, anything below 9 volts you might have a faulty battery.
3. Check voltage at the battery with the bike running at 3,600 RPM should be 14.3 to 14.7 volts. If you are not getting these numbers, you might have a faulty voltage regulator.
4. Make sure voltage regulator is grounded and functioning properly, watch the video below on how to test a voltage regulator.
5. Unplug the connector to the alternator and hook your multimeter leads to the alternator (pin/socket selection does not matter) set the multimeter to AC volts, at an idle the meter should read 16 to 20 volts AC. at 2,000 RPM 32 to 40 AC volts, 3,000 RPM 48 to 60 AC volts. If you are not getting these numbers, you may have a faulty rotor, follow step 6
6. Set the multimeter to OHM'S, connect one lead to the alternator (any pin/socket) and the other to a ground, the meter should read infinity. Connect both leads to the alternator meter should read 0.1 to 0.2 OHM'S. If you are not getting these numbers, you have a bad stator.
7. Check all wiring in the charging circuit for worn or chaffed spots and all wiring connectors in the circuit for corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets, which is the # 1 offender.
