the cooling fan should be operated by a sensor in the radiator. it controlls the ground to the powered fan

1. Low coolant level.
2. Restricted radiator air flow.
3. Faulty thermostat.
4. Coolant pump or fans inoperative.
5. Vent hose crimped.
6. Air in the coolant and needs bleeding.
7. Engine idling too long or bike moving too slow.
8. Coolant too old needs to be replaced.

Vulcan 500 ltd cuts off at high speed : got gas & battery terminals are tite


probably lean. check fuel flow , then float levels, and emulsifiers, to start with.

keep pressing the starter and find out were the click is comeing from,, then change the starter solenoid, it sounds like this is at fault

My 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 is struggling in fifth gear, and intermittently tachs high at speeds over 55mph.


If the bike is reving high in top gear but you are not gaining speed or very little speed your clutch is slipping. This is a sign the clutch needs replaced.

Well i would say the clutches have sat dry to long. You may change the oil and it solve the problem but more than likely new clutch discs.
