I have a 2001 neon the break lites do work could it be the body controll mod

Click on the link.
Can you read wiring diagrams? If your saying brake lites don't work, are all brake lites out, I'm talking about the high mount and lower brake lites, both? If both are out have to check fuse, not only check fuse, use a test light and check voltage on fuse circuit. The high mount brake lite and lower brake lites are wired differently.
I want to add, if I'm looking at correct wiring diagram, the bcm is not involved.

Have put hitch on 2004 road star, how do u get brake lite towork without it being on all the time have blinker tail but can't get brake lite to worrk rite Please help

The best thing to do is go to your local auto parts store or U-haul and get a trailer wiring isolator. The Roadie has a five wire set up for the taillights, brake, and turn for the rear of the bike. Most trailers are a 4 wire set up. The isolator/converter is a little black box that you splice into your bikes wiring and it converts it to a 4 flat trailer harness. If done correctly, you will have brake, tail and turn like normal. Only cost about 40 bucks.

My 2004 Chevy Impala Brake lights don't work. I checked the bulbs and fuse. All is ok. I replaced the brake light switch with a new one. Still nothing. Is there a relay somewhere that I am missing?

You have 2 brake lite switches . Did you replace the one for the brake lite or the one for the single lite. Check again please...when you replaced the brake lite switch .. did you check and see if the bakes lights were on and if they were on. If they were the problem is in the adjusting of the switch. If not check for the relay..Good Luck!!!

2004 Chevrolet Aveo Brake Lites Inop.

I have replaced several brake light switches in this particular car.The brake light switch is located under the dash on the brake peddle arm and is not expensive or hard to do .This seems to be the biggest problem with the brake lights:)

I have a chevy Silverado with a tow hitch package. I'm try ing to wire in a new hitch because the last one got smashed, I can isolate the right and left blinkers and the brake lights, but on a 4 slot flat...

I can't look up your wiring diagram because I don't know model year?
On some makes and models, the lower brake lites are wired through the multifunction switch. Your turn and stop use the same bulb filament, just not at the same time. On a left turn, the left turn signal works, but the brake lite on the left doesn't. Now, the brake lamp on the right does work. The high mount brake lite also will work. The highmount brake lite is usually wired differently than the lower brake lites.
W/o being able to look at wiring diagram, I don't know if my info is applicable on your vehicle? I need model year.
