You need a new cable. It points downward from the primary cover which contains oil, and some of it sits in the lower part of the cable. If it is frayed, it will leak.

If your bike is equipped with a cable operated clutch, disconnect the cable at the clutch handle and lubricate it with oil. There's also a possibility that the cable has rust or is frayed internally and needs to be replaced.

Plaese i need help my bike suzuki 1100 the cluch keeps on sliping i dont no if it is assembel right please help and the carb is also not right

Check the adjustment of the cable . Ensure that the cable is not kinked or frayed as this will stop complete movement of the clutch cable . Check the quality and type of oil used in the clutch as they run in oil and will slip if the oil is incorrect quality or grade.

2004 suzuki aireo stopped shifting

as bike clutches are cable activated the main problem apart from adjustment is that the cable frays and jams in the outer case. Check that the outer case is straight with no kinks from turning and no places for it to catch. Have a fault reading done and the cpu reset.

Im having trouble with my 2002 rm 250 clutchs... when i start to run the bike the cluth get like stuck or something and wildly releases at any moments and the bike runs off... its barely imposble to run...

  • A couple of things could be wrong. The clutch cable center wire could be frayed and catching up on the outer shell.
  • The clutch cable is bent or has been hit and crushed.
  • The outer and/or inner clutch hub is grooved and the friction plates are hanging up in the grooves.
  • You changed the gearbox oil and put in synthetic oil or an oil with "Special" additives. Synthetics can swell the cork on the friction plates and cause problems. Only use 10w40 motor oil in the gearbox.
  • A bad needle bearing at the pressure plate or on the shaft
  • The clutch was re-assembled incorrectly.

When i pull in the clutch and shift into gear my bike jumps and dies. it doesnt seem like the clutch is working

That definitely sounds like the clutch is shot, like it's not even there.Inspect both ends of your cable first before going to replace the clutch.Sometimes either end of the cable will fray and pop off the little bead stopper. It also could just need re-adjusting at the clutch end.If you are up around 70-80K miles, probably the clutch though.Good luck.

Clutch slipping

I had the same problem with my Yamaha 650. Either the clutch cable is misadjusted or you are using the wrong oil. Since the clutch assembly and all that is built into the crankcase, you need motorcycle oil. Are you using motorcycle oil or regular automotive oil.

Im sure there could be more serious issues, but I would check these first.

Gear/clutch problem

does not seem like the waterpump. is the clutch set too loose?
usually in wire based clutches, if the clutch cable is set to be too loose, or if it is frayed, and needs replacement, the bike will jump and stall.
check that.

There is no pressure in the clutch of my 2006 Suzuki Forenza.

Cable Operated Clutch:
Stretched, frayed or binding cable, broken or bent pedal bracket, or cracked firewall can be the cause. Problems with a cable mechanism will often herald internal clutch problems as well. When something happens inside the clutch that requires extra force to be exerted on the clutch pedal, things break! Cables can also wear simply from age and use.
Hydraulically Operated Clutch:
Clutch master cylinder leaking or bypassing pressure, slave cylinder leaking, clutch flex hose leaking, pedal bushings worn or missing, or a cracked firewall can reduce the system’s ability to disengage the clutch. Rule of thumb: If the clutch master cylinder is bad, replace both master and slave cylinders as a pair. This will save you future heartache.
