Sounds like you have a problem with the computer or the FI system on the bike. That is what the (F)uel (I)njection is on for.

there is a set of fuses ....... when standing facing the side of the bike that has the clutch on it.... look down at the section of bodywork rearmost (closest to the rear wheel) this section can be unscrewed. in this you will find the relay for the starter motor and the indicators. as well as a small box type containing a number of fuses.

It mught be the bulb that needs replacing or else check the wiring to the bulb for continuity in case there is a broken or snapped bit.If you have a voltmeter then you can test the voltage reading at the point of contact..Sometimes rust builds up and a simple cleaning would solve this.Hope this helps.

check to see if your battery is dead. If it has power then check the ignition power line to see if the power is at the ignition switch. that may be a red wire in color. If you have power at that point then the ignition swith is no good. replace it.

How to wire new tail light for a 03 suzuki gsx600f?

Brown is tail
Red is stop
either back or green is earth.
Why do you need to "rewire" if you have a new one just leave the wiring and light sockets on the bike replace the tail light and put the original light sockets back in the new tail light.

Rear light wiring.

All OEMs have their own common wire color coding. Look at and other Suzuki street bike tail light wiring to determine which color is the tail light/ brake light/ left and right turn signal colors. The ground will be the same color for all of these lights.

Are you sure that the key is in the off position. Many motorcycles have a "PARK" position that allows you to park the bike, pull the key, and leave the tail light on. Try turning the key to different positions until every thing is off. If you can remove the key now you have found the "OFF" position.

08 gsxr 1000 starting motor fuse keeps blowing

Hi Junhayabusa, you have a dead short which is usually the easiest to find. Using a test light connected to the hot side of the blown fuse holder, start probing the wire leaving the fuse holder about an inch away the test light should illuminate, keep probing towards the ignition switch until the test light no longer illuminates you are now very close to the short. I have an 89 GSX-R, won't start and lights/dash don't work

Hi there,

Well it seems that due to high voltage your bikes fuse must be blown, so suggest you first of all you check the fuse on your bike, fuse box is in the front, you have another set under your left tail fairing, which needs to come off, to get to the other fuse..... Follow your user manual to check location of your fuse box.

Post further comments for more help...

Good Luck!!

Thanks
