Hi Anonymous, the best thing I can recommend is purchase a service manual on line or at your local dealer, then decide weather or not you still want to do it your self. Good luck

How do I change the front shocks on a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse?

If I understand the people correctly on the Chevy forums, your car has front shocks and rear struts. I have done both and I personally think shocks are easier to change than struts. Although I was unable to find your car and year, they do have some good educational videos on YouTube. Try this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYGBTL_04tI

this may have something to do with worn suspension and steering joints. If the mechanic didn't tell you about the condition of the front end when he did the shock absorbers then be a little sus when you go back.

How do I chnage the front and rear shocks in a 2001 4.0

The shocks in the rear just unbolt top and bottom, disconnect the air line and replace them.

Struts are used in the front. You'll need to remove them and then have a spring compressor to change the struts. An alignment check is recommended after the struts are replaced.

How to change shock absorbers on a mg zt

Rear shocks would be in the boot or back seat - just unbolt and replace, you will have to remove both wheels. Front shocks may need a spring compressor if the shocks are inside the road spring, DO NOT ATTEMPT FRONT SHOCKS WITHOUT A SPRING COMPRESSOR YOU WILL GET SERIOUSLY HURT!!!

How to replace the shocks on my 2002 jeep grand Cherokee??

shocks are easy my friend. make sure you have shocks in the front not struts. a strut will have a spring around the shock with a large steel plate holding the spring to the strut. first off. the car does not have to be lifted to change the rear and if you have shocks on the front as well. just simply remove the lower and upper mounting hardware then change. i can not say enough make sure you have shocks in the front and not struts. struts are a pain and can be very dangerous to replace if you dont have the correct equipment

2001 electra glide classic rear shock length

Harley usually uses a 12.5" shock but that could change from model to model and they don't list "shock length" in their specs. The best thing you could do it go to a dealer or find someone that has a stock bike and measure the front end height and rear shock length. Sorry but that's all I got.

Good Luck
