ASSUMMING THE BIKE IS 12 VOLTS WITH A NEGATIVE GROUND;
1. with a voltmeter check across the battery terminals and see that it has about 12-12.6 volts. If it does not then charge or replace the battery first.
2. Check the fuses; most bikes have a main fuse coming off of the battery or in the fuse box.
3. If the battery and fuses appears ok, check for loose or corroded terminals. Also look for connectors and wires that are corroded and/or have a melted look.
4. If everything before this checks out ok, check for 12 power at the back of the ignition switch.
5. At this point it is best that you have a wiring diagram to determine which wires carry power away from the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch on and continue to track the power wires to where ever they go. When the ignition switch is turned on it should have some wires measuring 12 volts coming off of the switch or the switch is bad. Continue to track wires until they reach there source or a point that no longer has 12 volts and that will be the problem area.

SOURCE: Suziki Boulevard C90 wont start,

Your starter button is a two position switch. The lights are supposed to go dim when the button is pushed halfway in. When pushed in all the way it should activate the starter solenoid. The starter solenoid is located under the seat next to the battery. You can follow the positive battery cable directly to the starter solenoid. If you push the starter button and the starter solenoid clicks, then the starter button is good. If the you unplug the two smaller wires going to the starter solenoid and connect a voltage meter to the main harness leads , the needle should jump whenever you press the starter button. If it does not clean the button contacts or replace the right switch assembly. If the starter button is good then take a jumper wire and short across the two battery cables on the starter solenoid. This will put power directly to the the starter. If the starter works now replace the starter solenoid. If your starter still does not work, try holding the starter button and tapping on the starter with a plastic hammer. If the starter works now then you probably need to replace the starter brushes. If anything else is wrong with the starter you will need to replace the assembly as the dealer will usually only offer the starter brushes for repair purpose.

Hi, Angel before testing any electrical component in the Starting System it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage, the battery is faulty and must be replaced. AGM type batteries fall into this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand, clutch, neutral safety switch.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid, starter have failed or circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
13. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
14. Check for engine trouble codes.

Wont start no lights 2006 suzuki c90 t

Battery is dead or no capacity. Check charge. A battery can read correct voltage but have no capacity. battery should be 13.8 volts fully charged approximately.

Did this just happen after storage or was it working fine then had the problem>? Needs more details and history to diagnose. How old is the battery??.

Battery dead after ride.. wont start.. 2006 C90

COuld be a bad battery or there is a loose (or corroded) connection somewhere. Check to be sure everything is tight, and clean on the battery terminals. If this happens after short trips, or after trips when your bike sat for a while, or on colder days it's probably just time for a new battery.

Suzuki c-50 bouelvard wont start. turn ignition on and no lights. checked fuses under seat and fuse box all ok.

You need to start from the battery, how is the condition of it, is it charged up?, are the connectors good? Using a test lamp, or a multi meter, check you have power at the battery, then trace it to the next place, till you find the break.

Try putting the bike in gear when this happens and rock it until you reposition the pistons, then hit your starter and see what happens. ( If you are up against the compression stroke, then you wait a few seconds it gives it time to bleed down the compression.)

Suzuki C90 Won't Start

Check your battery cables, especially the ground cable. Check your ignition switch for loose wires/connections. Check your fuse box. Check your wiring harness for shorts and broken wires. When you say "battery seems to have plenty of power" what does that mean? What test(s) did you perform on it?
