ProForce PWC102350 2,350 PSI 2.3 GPM 163CC MagnaForce Gas Powered Pressure Washer will not start

Pressure washer ProForce PWC102350 ran fine and the just quit. Can't get it to start now. PW was not used for 10 months but was run out of fuel at that time. Added brand new gas and PW ran for 4 hours. Added gas to tank this morning and it ran fine for 45 minutes and then just stopped. Can't get it to turn over now. Maybe a dirty carb?

If you have compression then the first thing you check is for spark. If you have spark then you move on to the fuel system. You will have to pull off hoses at a couple of points to see if gas is at the carb and further along. If it is the carb then a simple carb kit will work.

The engine cuts off when i squeeze the handle on the sprayer, what is causing this to happen?

Sounds like a bad unloader valve. Do a search on "pressure washer unloader valve symptoms". When they are faulty there will either be little pressure or it will stop an engine abruptly. The engine will not just die down as it you were turning it off. It would stop cold.

Motor fires up fine runs slightly rough for about 10 seconds then smooths out for about 5 seconds and cuts off. Will start right back up after about 5 seconds and does the same thing. I have drained the...

Previous owner had way overfilled crankcase oil. Oil had gotten into carb and clogged air filter. Drained oil to correct level. Ran engine but kept cutting off-see above. Took off carb cover cleaned housing and ran without air filter-ran fine. Unsuccessfully tried to clean air filter with gas-did not work. Apparently, the engine could run just long enough to exhaust the air in the old filter and cut off which is why it would start back up after a few seconds. Bought new air filter-whole thing-about $15 at Carquest. Put in some carb cleaner and installed the new filter and it runs perfectly.

Ridgid pressure washer motor runs choppy when choke is disengaged

The choke reduces the air flow into the carb. If you are having problems with the choke off, it means that not enough fuel is getting into the engine and it is running lean. When you choke it, the reduced air flow causes the mixture to be correct and it runs fine.

Started by Craftsman 2700 PSI , 2.3 GPM Briggs & Stratton Powered Pressure Washer for first time in 9 months. Added new oil, and gas. started but is smoking from muffler and is dripping what appears to...

The first thing I would check would be the oil level, to make sure you didn't put in too much oil. If the oil level is correct, it could be a stuck piston ring, letting oil blow by the piston, and out the exhaust. If this is the case, you are going to have to tear down the engine.

Hope this helps!

I do like to know if this washer is good enough for my business as a used car dealer? Briggs & Stratton Murray 020456 2400 PSI 20 GPM 190cc Briggs Stratton

We power washed houses for years with a 2400psi machine. The machine weighed about 90 pounds. 1 strong man could pick up the weight, but usually it took 2 men to unload it from the trailer.

A small machine can advertise 2400 psi ... but that is for 3 square inches at a time. The heavier machine shoots a 10" or wider swath of 2400psi.

We ran our machine twice a week for years. We had a honda engine. I'm sure the briggs engine is good. I wouldn't buy a used machine... unless the price was low and it started on first pull. Electric starter on your power washer might be a repair-waiting-to-happen because it is constantly exposed to water and dirt.
