1st pull the fuel line going to the carbs, make sure it is flowing ok.. I dont remember if ya got to pull the carbs to get to the bowls, but the fuel bowls have to come off, then remove the needle and seat and float, make sure everything is clear and clean in the hole the needle sits in.Then pull the jets out, clean them with spray carb cleaner, and the holes they come out of. Good Luck!

2005 F550 V10 lacks power

Sounds like a problem with the transmission. Your problem could be caused by a number of things related to the tranny but I would try change the Trans fluid and filters first. Costs around 100 at your local transmission repair shop.

I have a 454ci chevy engine what would give me more HP a duel quad carb. set up or a triple carb. set up?.

it is very possible to over fuel an engine and that puts the fire out regardless of the power required so extra carbies is not the answer
a single 4 barrel 650 -750 double pumper will do as well if not better than 2 carbies
if you want more hp , turbo it , change the cam to a torque cam, tuned headers , proper balanced exhaust system, top quality ignition system
if you want to be an all out rev head and make the engine as hot as possible , fuel injection is the way to go along with a high rpms cam

1993 Ford F350 7.3 lacks power and idles rough sometimes

It sounds like you have fuel pressure problems and possible ignition wiring issues as well. Have the fuel pressure checked when this problem occurs is my best advice. If the spark plug wires are orig, then replace them and route just like the old one, replace any broken loom holders.

did you unplug the wire behind the distributor before you timed it?
if not try that and retime it then plug it back in also you might go ahead and replace the knock sensor. I know you checked it

Truck lacks power

Check the fuel filter (could be plugged) or it might possibly need a new catalytic converter.
