Question about 2007 Harley Davidson FLSTF Softail Fat Boy

Pu the battery back in after winter. as soon as I connect the cables, the turn signals come on steady.

Won't start, totally dead


Check battery cable ends and cable connections for being tight. Turn on headlights and try moving/jiggling cable ends to see if headlights come on/flicker. If so, suspect poor connections at cable ends or poor cables/grounds

How to connect ion turntable to bose radio?


Why whole you try to connect a computer accessories to an audio system? Even when both things are made for audio.
To bring digitising vinyl, closer to the computer user, ION produces record players, which don't output audio signals, but digital signals.
The digital signals can be read by a computer, when connected to a computer with the appropriate software installed.
If you want to connect the record player to an audio system, you need to rip it down. Trow out the digital part, and connecting correct cabling, straight to the cable coming form the PU element. Then you will be surprised, how little modern amplifies still can handle the low signal levels a PU element produces.
I'm sorry I have to say you can't use the ION turntable in a normal audio system, like you can connect any USB connector to a normal audio amplifier, unless you modify the whole system. And if you would modify, the sound coming form that system, would sound poor, considering what you have to pay for the ION, and the modification. A normal record player, with a correct pre amplifier that can be connected to the Bose, would be cheaper.

I need a fuse diagram for a 2006 Ford F250 2WD. My lights all work great on the PU but when I connect the trailer the lights work but no brake lights or turn signals.


If all the lights work properly with the trailer wiring not connected then the truck itself is fine. If attaching the trailer wiring causes the lights to permanently stop working on the truck then you are blowing a fuse and it will need to be replaced. Your owners manual will show you where the fuse panel is. You should be able to check the wiring plug at the back of the truck to be sure it is working properly with a test light and a helper. If the power for signals/brakes etc are not all working at the plug, then trace back and fix these. If all is good at the truck's plug, then the trailer wiring must be faulty. Again, go through it and fix anything that is broken or corroded. Of course it goes without saying, make sure all the bulbs are good.

Harley 03 softail left turn signal does not work


Hi Anonymous, start by checking the bulb in your TS then the TS button for continuity. I posted a couple websites below for more help and information, as far as your bike not firing the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty
2. Fuel supply valve turned off.
3. Fouled spark plugs.
4. Engine flooded with gasoline as a result of over use of enrichner.
5. Fuel valve or filter clogged.
6. Vacuum hose to automatic fuel supply valve disconnected, leaking, or pinched.
7. Discharged battery, loose or broken battery connections.
8. Loose wire connection at coil, battery or plug between ignition sensor and module.
9. Spark plug cables in bad condition and shorting, spark plug cable connections loose,
or cables connected to wrong cylinders.
10. Ignition timing incorrect due to faulty ignition coil, ignition module, or sensors " Manifold Absolute Pressure" "Camshaft Position Sensor" "Crank Position Sensor" "Brake Apply Sensor
11. Engine lubricant to heavy ( winter operation )
12. Sticking or damaged valves or push rod wrong length.
13. Primary cam sproket spline sheared or missing spacer.
14. Security alarm system not disarming.

Engine kick back while starting


Hi Anonymous, when checking for spark the CKP needs to measure the compression bump in order to send the correct signal to the ICM/ECM so always check for spark with either a third plug grounded or lift the end of the plug boot 1/2 " off one of spark plugs that are in the head. and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty
2. Fuel supply valve turned off.
3. Fouled spark plugs.
4. Engine flooded with gasoline as a result of over use of enrichner.
5. Fuel valve or filter clogged.
6. Vacuum hose to automatic fuel supply valve disconnected, leaking, or pinched.
7. Discharged battery, loose or broken battery connections especially the negative cable at "BOTH" ends
8. Loose wire connection at coil, battery or plug between ignition sensor and module.
9. Spark plug cables in bad condition and shorting, spark plug cable connections loose,
or cables connected to wrong cylinders.
10. Ignition timing incorrect due to faulty ignition coil, ignition module, or sensors " Manifold Absolute Pressure" "Camshaft Position Sensor" "Crank Position Sensor" "Brake Apply Sensor

My parking lights stay on when i turn the engine off of my 2006 ford explorer, i have to disconnect the battery to turn them off


Try unhooking one of the battery cables and leave it off for at least 20 minutes. When you hook it back up the computers should re-boot. That has solved problems for me with heater, interior lites, power windows, AC, day time running lites, power mirrors, fast idle, rough or slow shifting, CD player, and wipers on GM autos and S-10 PU and Dodge trucks. None of the switches are connected to the device they control anymore. The switch tells the computer to open the window and the computer send a signal to the window motor. When the computer gets confused strange things will happen or not happen. Of course you may have to re-set your radio stations.

I just had the emission and state inspection done on my 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer and now the "service engine soon" light stays on. It was alright before. What can be the problem?


Try unhooking one of the battery cables and leave it off for at least 20 minutes. When you hook it back up the computers should re-boot. That has solved problems for me with heater, interior lites, power windows, AC, day time running lites, power mirrors, CD player, and wipers on GM autos and S-10 PU and Dodge trucks. None of the switches are connected to the device they control anymore. The switch tells the computer to open the window and the computer send a signal to the window motor. When the computer gets confused strange things will happen or not happen. Of course you may have to re-set your radio stations. If it comes on again, take it to Advance Auto parts and they will read out the computer error codes for free.

YES. IT MAY TAKE SEVERAL STARTS TO CLEAR THE CODE AND TURN THE LIGHT OUT. OOORRRR , YOU COULD REMOVE THE NEGATIVE FROM THE BATTERY FOR 10 MINUTES THEN PUT IT BACK ON AND YOU SHOULD BE BACK IN BUSINESS . GOOD LUCK.
