How to install twin kadrons on a stock 1600 and do i need to install anything else first

fuel pressure needs to be between 1.5 and 2 psi (after the fuel filter) unbolt the throttle cable and remove all hoses from the existing carb. remove the air cleaner. unbolt the intake from the heads and from the exhuast. remove the whole assembly from the vehicle. go ahead and set your valve clearances. plug the preheat hole in the exhuast manifold. install the studs on the intake. apply a little oil on the mating surfaces then apply the gasket, install the carb onto the manifold and the manifold onto the head. do the same for the other side. install the linkage and filter. set the jets all the way in on both sides then back them out two full turns and that should get you to where you can start it. then sync and adjust them accordingly.

Taking torque converter inspection plate off 86 s10 blazer

Hello tapout383: My name is Roger and I will answer for you. There is no way to remove the flywheel cover with out dropping the exhaust. I have tried every way you could imagine. You will also need to replace the donut gaskets when you put it back together.Be careful not to break the exhaust studs when you loosen them. Good luck on your repair. Please rate the quality of your answer. This is how we track you received the correct answer. Thank You for using FixYa. Roger
